This advanced cryosurgery system delivers fast, safe, and effective treatment, making it an ideal solution for removing skin tags, age spots, warts, and other benign skin growths.

Designed for exceptional accuracy, CryoPen allows practitioners to target lesions with pinpoint precision while preserving the surrounding healthy tissue.

CryoPen delivers a precise, high-pressure jet of nitrous oxide, allowing targeted treatment of benign skin lesions with exceptional accuracy. Its millimetre-level precision enables the lesion to be treated while minimising impact on the surrounding healthy tissue.

CryoPen is an effective treatment option for a range of benign skin concerns, including milia, skin tags, pigmentation, warts, verrucae, and cherry angiomas.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please contact us at enquieris@smoothskinsolutions.co.uk if you cannot find an answer to your question.

CryoPen uses advanced cryotherapy technology to precisely treat a variety of benign skin lesions on the face and body. The controlled application of extreme cold targets unwanted tissue while minimising impact on the surrounding healthy skin.

Treatment is typically quick and well tolerated, with many simple lesions, such as skin tags, taking only a few minutes to treat. In many cases, satisfactory results are achieved in a single session, and minimal post-treatment care is usually required.

CryoPen can be used to remove a wide range of benign skin lesions, including skin tags, solar lentigines, pigmented spots, actinic keratoses, cherry angiomas, milia, warts, plantar warts, verrucae and more.

CryoPen treatments are only available to individuals aged 18 and over.

The length of treatment varies according to the type and  size of the lesion being treated. Smaller lesions, such as flat warts, typically require only a few seconds of cryotherapy, whereas thicker or more persistent lesions, including plantar warts, may require a longer application. In most cases, treatment is completed within 2 to 30 seconds.

Before undergoing CryoPen treatment, it’s important to consult a medical professional if you have:

  • Impaired sensation
  • Poor circulation
  • Superficial nerves
  • Open wounds
  • Skin cancer
  • Cold sensitivity
  • Heart conditions

Yes, suitability depends on individual skin type and the treatment area, and will be carefully evaluated prior to treatment. Your practitioner will confirm eligibility during a full pre-treatment consultation.

Yes, individuals with darker skin tones may be at increased risk of permanent hypopigmentation following treatment. This is due to melanocytes, the pigment-producing cells in the skin, being more susceptible to cold-induced injury during cryosurgery. This potential risk will be discussed and carefully considered during your consultation prior to treatment.
